Sustainability Outreach & Education Coordinator

Elysia joined the City’s Recycling Team in June of 2015.  She is a graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with an M.S. in Environmental Science Management and Rockhurst University with a B.S. in Biology.  Born and raised in St. Louis, in her free time she enjoys spending time with friends, learning Italian and playing the piano.

Recycling Program Specialist

Rachel joined the City’s Recycling Team in August of 2016.  She is a graduate of St. Louis University with a Master of Social Work, specializing in Community and Organizations.  Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Rachel moved to St. Louis in 2014 to start her Master’s program and has become a St. Louis resident now.  In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her cats, Jack and Louis, gardening, crafting and baking.

Jessica joined the City’s Recycling Team in June of 2015.  Jessica is a graduate of Washington University with a M.S.W. in Social Work, specializing in environmental justice and University of Illinois Urbana­-Champaign with a B.A. in Political Science.  Originally from Virginia, Jessica moved to St. Louis in 2008.  She loves being a downtown resident, singing and scuba diving.

Samantha Villaire

Recycling Program Specialist

Samantha joined the City’s Recycling Team in July of 2018.  Samantha is a graduate of Washington University with a B.S. in Sustainability, specializing in Community Development.  Samantha has been a City resident since 2012 and lives in South City with her adopted cat, Penny.  In her free time, Samantha enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, traveling and being artsy.
