Learn how to collect rain water in your own backyard with a rain barrel! A local gardening expert from Gateway Greening will give a talk on how to use your rain barrel at home. After the talk, Perennial staff will lead the class in altering their food-safe 55-gallon drums to transform them into rain collectors, and will instruct on ways to incorporate them into your yard, including creating a base to elevate them, and demonstrating how to connect them to your gutters.
