Elysia Musumeci

Sustainability Outreach & Education Coordinator

Elysia joined the City’s Recycling Team in June of 2015.  She is a graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with an M.S. in Environmental Science Management and Rockhurst University with a B.S. in Biology.  Born and raised in St. Louis, in her free time she enjoys spending time with friends, learning Italian and playing the piano.

 

Samantha Villaire

Recycling Program Specialist

Samantha joined the City’s Recycling Team in July of 2018.  Samantha is a graduate of Washington University with a B.S. in Sustainability, specializing in Community Development.  Samantha has been a South City resident since 2012 and lives with her adopted cat, Penny.  In her free time, Samantha enjoys reading, gardening, spending time with family and friends, traveling and being artsy.





Teela Gajewski

Recycling Program Specialist

Teela joined the City’s Recycling Team in November of 2021. She is a graduate of American University with a Masters of Public Policy and SUNY Buffalo State College with a B.S. in Social Work. Teela is new to St. Louis City and lives with her adopted cat, Winnie. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, exploring the outdoors, reading, watching movies and trying new foods.

Recycling Update

City recycling and trash are still being collected together in alleyways. Ensure your items are recycled by taking them to one of the City's dropoff locations.
