Jean Corbett
Sustainability Education and Outreach Coordinator

Jean started with STL City Recycles during the 2023 Earth Day Festival, after working in various capacities in the field of sustainability education. She is a graduate of Webster University with an M.A. in Education for Global Sustainability. Although Jean is from the City of St. Louis, she spent over a decade living across the United States and eventually brought those experiences home in 2007. Jean loves traveling and when she’s not working, she’s adventuring around the globe or road tripping across the country with her dogs.
KG Gosik
Recycling Program Specialist II

KG Gosik joined the Brightside team in November 2024 after serving the St. Louis community in the field of conservation education in a variety of positions including working for the St. Louis Zoo and the Missouri Botanical Garden. A St. Louis native, KG is inspired by empowering her community to make more sustainable choices. She is huge advocate for planting native and also owns a flower and herb business that focuses on the beauty of native Missouri flora. When she is not working, KG can be found in the garden with her cat Dharma or hiking on the many trails near her home in Eureka, MO.
Ava Hohn
Recycling Program Specialist I

Ava joined the Brightside team in November 2024. She is a St. Louis city native who just moved into the Tower Grove area after graduating from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa with a B.A. in Environmental Sustainability and Resilience. Ava is excited about contributing to the important work of Brightside and the St. Louis City Recycles program!
